By 2025, Walmart will expand and enhance sustainable sourcing to cover 20 key commodities, including bananas, grapes, coffee, and tea. For our coffee supply, we will:

  • Work with suppliers to source certified, sustainably grown coffee for 100% of our private brand products and invest in the long-term viability of coffee farming through direct programs with growers,
  • Encourage our major national brand suppliers to commit to sourcing certified, sustainably grown coffee, and
  • Encourage the broader industry to drive change at scale by joining the Sustainable Coffee Challenge
