Falcon Coffees

Falcon Coffees is a specialty green coffee trader that sources from 550,000 small holder producers across 26 origins on behalf of over 1000 roasters globally. We believe that working in coffee provides us with the opportunity to contribute to the sustainability of smallholder agriculture. We build collaborative supply chains for mutual profit and positive social and environmental outcomes. Our purpose is to work towards this goal in every part of our business. Established in 2008 and headquartered in the UK, we have sales offices in North America, Southeast Asia and in 2021 established an office and roasting facility in Germany that services our European client base. We have origin representation in Ethiopia as well as a dedicated sourcing operation in Jaen, Northern Peru.

Our Commitments

We believe in being accountable for the impact our work has on the environment. We aim to measure and mitigate harm wherever possible. This includes efficient and responsible energy consumption and waste management throughout our offices and warehouses, decarbonising our activities through reducing and offsetting, and the preservation of local biodiversity and smallholder agricultural practices. Falcon is committed to the critical climate requirement of achieving net zero by developing a transition pathway that aligns with science-based targets. We have initiated a project in partnership with the University of Brighton to develop a translatable methodology to account for carbon emissions within our supply chain and be able to accurately measure our upstream scope 3 emissions. We expect to achieve this measurement milestone by 2024, allowing for an informed SBTi transition pathway.
